FLSA Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt Location: Fairfield, CA
General Functions and Scope
Prepare orders, load and unload trucks, deliver to customer over established route adhering to all company work rules and DOT regulations.
Essential Functional Areas of Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty Class A vehicles, including trucks with trailers, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
- Operate a dozer to perform various tasks such as grading, leveling, and earthmoving at construction sites and environmental projects.
- Handle and transport hazardous materials in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and Hazmat handling guidelines.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have direct reports.
