Physical Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
At GEM Transitional Care Center, our mission is to provide compassionate and patient-centered care to our community. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Pasadena, CA. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their physical therapy goals under the guidance of our licensed physical therapists.
Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with a variety of medical conditions

Perform physical therapy treatments, including exercises, stretching, and modalities, as ordered by the physical therapist

Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist

Maintain accurate patient charts and records

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Provide patient education and instruction on proper techniques and self-care strategies
Requirements:

Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies or related field

Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of California

Minimum of 0 years of experience in physical therapy or related field

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent distractions

Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as necessary
