Job Description

Precision Tube Bending, an established aerospace manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled CNC Mill Machinist / Tool & Die Maker with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in precision machining, tooling, and aerospace manufacturing.

Work four days a week and enjoy every Saturday, Sunday and Monday off!

We are looking for an experienced, dependable professional who can independently set up, operate, troubleshoot, and produce complex precision components while maintaining strict quality and tolerance requirements.

This is not an entry-level CNC operator position. Extensive hands-on machining and toolmaking experience is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace components, tooling, dies, and fixtures.
Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
Perform machine setups, tooling selection, offsets, and adjustments independently.
Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain precision tooling, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
Work with tight tolerances and complex part geometries.
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot machining issues, optimize setups, and maintain consistent part quality.
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks.
Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards, shop procedures, and safety requirements.
Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting production deadlines.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of CNC milling and precision machining experience.
Strong Tool & Die Maker experience required.
Aerospace manufacturing experience required.
Advanced knowledge of CNC mill setup, operation, tooling, and machining processes.
Ability to read complex blueprints and interpret GD&T.
Experience machining precision tooling, dies, fixtures, and close-tolerance components.
Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and consistently produce high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications

CNC programming and program-editing experience.
Experience with multi-axis CNC milling.
Experience with conventional/manual milling, turning, and surface grinding.
Familiarity with AS9100 aerospace quality requirements.
Experience manufacturing tooling and fixtures for aerospace tube fabrication and forming operations.
