Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) role is available with an onsite position at a 340B pharmacy facility. This contract opportunity spans 3 to 6 months, with work schedules covering days and afternoons. The primary responsibility will be to fulfill PIC duties, ensuring compliance and operational excellence within the pharmacy setting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure the 340B program integrity and adherence to policy
- Supervise pharmacy staff and maintain high-quality service delivery
- Manage inventory, recordkeeping, and reporting as required for PIC designation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative teams
Qualifications:
- Current pharmacist licensure in one or more of the following states is highly preferred: AK, AL, AR, CA, IA, ID, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, WV
- Proven experience in a Pharmacist in Charge role or similar supervisory capacity
- Familiarity with 340B pharmacy operations and compliance standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining pharmacy regulatory compliance
