What you'll actually do
- Work your own pipeline of people who requested life insurance information
- Run discovery conversations before presenting, then match options to what you learn
- Quote through carrier tools and submit applications during the client appointment
- Chase each case through underwriting until it is issued or closed out
- Keep CRM records clean so your pipeline is always accurate
- Study carrier guidelines and state rules as they change
Who this is a fit for
- A track record of selling where results depend on your own work
- Comfortable managing yourself without daily direction
- Strong follow-up habits, because cases don't move without attention
- A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
- Comfortable using web-based quoting platforms and a CRM
- At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
