  • Customize units and make adjustments or repairs according to written specifications and engineering requirements.
  • Order and maintain inventory of replacement parts for electronic test equipment and manage warranty, service, and repair records.
  • Work with vendors to obtain pricing and availability of needed parts and perform quality checks on newly delivered equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate records on equipment repairs, warranties, and schematics.
  • Create ADCNs for minor electronics assembly rework instructions in accordance with IPC standards.
  • Create engineering test and status reports to communicate progress and findings.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers as needed to support troubleshooting of electronic assemblies.
  • Build and set up test boxes (breakout boxes) used as hardware test stations for PCBAs, controllers, and other electrical products.
  • Design and assemble test boxes by creating cable and wire harnesses, making wire connections, installing indicator buttons, installing basic instrument control panels, drilling required holes, and installing connectors.
  • Support calibration, troubleshooting, and testing activities associated with test boxes and related power electronics equipment.
