Step into a dynamic contract opportunity offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You'll work closely with a supportive school community in the Janesville, CA area, delivering essential services and collaborating with dedicated professionals. This role runs from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027, providing you a structured school-year schedule.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Successful fingerprint clearance and completion of all district-required onboarding
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to independently manage a caseload and work alongside multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience in a school setting is welcome, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy according to IEP goals and service minutes
  • Conduct thorough speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations, written reports, and IEP documentation
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust IEP goals; present in meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to Medicaid billing protocols (when applicable)
  • Consult with school staff to support classroom accommodations and communication strategies
  • Support students with diverse needs across eligibility categories, utilizing AAC systems as needed
  • Engage as an active participant in multidisciplinary meetings and planning

This contract role provides a competitive pay range of $60–$75 per hour, weekly pay, comprehensive insurance coverage (medical, dental, vision, life), a matching 401k, and a flexible spending account.
