Jelight Company Inc. is an established manufacturer in Anaheim, CA, looking to add a skilled CNC programmer/machine operator to its production team.
Position Summary
We're seeking a CNC Programmer/Machinist with at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating and programming CNC vertical mills and CNC lathes. The ideal candidate is comfortable with Mastercam 5-axis programming, reads blueprints fluently, and holds themselves to tight tolerances using manual inspection tools.
Responsibilities
- Operate and program CNC vertical mills and CNC lathes to produce precision parts
- Program parts in Mastercam, including 5-axis programming
- Read and interpret blueprints to set up and run production jobs
- Perform manual inspection of finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and similar tools
- Machine quartz components as needed
- Operate Mitsubishi/TRUMPF laser cutting equipment as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating and programming various CNC vertical mills and CNC lathes
- Experience with Mastercam 5-axis programming
- Proficient in blueprint reading
- Knowledge/experience with manual inspection (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (a huge plus)
- Experience machining quartz
- Knowledge/experience with Mitsubishi/TRUMPF laser cutters
- Experience with TRUMPF TruCell programming
Compensation
$28–$42 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
