Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Residential)
Company: Key Staffing
Location: Tulare County (Visalia)
Pay: $22.00 – $26.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (may vary based on project needs)
Position Overview
Key Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our residential properties, including houses and apartment units. This role requires someone who is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable traveling between different job sites to complete maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential homes and apartment units
- Complete unit turns, including preparing properties for new tenants
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure properties are maintained to company standards
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites
- Communicate effectively with tenants, property managers, and team members
Requirements
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation (truck required)
- Previous experience in residential maintenance (homes/apartments)
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance, including:

- Electrical
- HVAC (basic troubleshooting)
- Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple job sites
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and professional
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with unit turns and property upkeep
- Ability to handle a wide range of maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
