Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy technician position is available at a health center providing retail/community pharmacy services. This per diem role offers immediate start with an expected duration of 4 to 6 weeks and potential contract-to-hire opportunity for candidates who speak Spanish.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pharmacy technician duties in a retail/community setting within a health center
- Accurately process prescriptions and assist pharmacists in daily operations
- Utilize Rx30 system to manage pharmacy tasks efficiently
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a retail pharmacy technician
- Proficiency in Rx30 pharmacy system preferred
- Spanish-speaking candidates highly preferred and given preferential consideration, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team
