Delivery Driver – Batteries
Job Title: Delivery Driver / Battery Delivery Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver to safely deliver batteries and related products to customers. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills. This position may also assist with loading, unloading, and organizing inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries.
- Load, unload, and transport automotive, industrial, and other batteries.
- Deliver products accurately and on time to customers and business locations.
- Verify delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
- Lift and move batteries and other products as required.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Assist with warehouse duties, including stocking, organizing, and preparing orders.
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns to management.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy batteries, typically up to 50–75 pounds.
- Ability to safely load and unload products.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable attendance and dependable transportation.
- Ability to pass required background and driving record checks.
- Experience with warehouse operations is a plus.
