Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity in a supportive educational environment as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), providing essential services in a school-based setting. This role begins in December 2026 and continues through August 2027, offering the chance to make a direct, positive impact on students’ communication development.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid SLP licensure for the state of California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, staff, students, and families
  • Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans for diverse caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress
  • Provide direct therapy services both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document and communicate student performance as required by school and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, conferences, and parent consultations to optimize student outcomes
