- Conduct repairs and overhauls on various types of rotating machinery.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure equipment is operating within specifications.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to coordinate work schedules and prioritize tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.
- Proven experience as a rotating equipment mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and rotating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
