Job DescriptionCareer Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Senior / Staff Product Engineer - AI - this is a hybrid role in San Francisco. Salary range: 185-213K USD yearly plus benefits plus equity.We are the leading AI Agents platform for financial services. We are looking for a Senior or Staff Product Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join us and build customer-facing AI-powered products that automate financial crime compliance for banks and fintechs. You'll be a full-stack engineer with a strong foundation from top engineering cultures, a track record of building zero-to-one products at startups, and a genuine passion for solving complex problems with real customer impact. This is a high-ownership role where you'll work directly with customers and ship features that process thousands of compliance cases, saving teams significant time and directly driving revenue. What will you be doing?
- Own substantial product features end-to-end — from customer discovery and requirements gathering through to production deployment and iteration.
- Build agentic workflows that coordinate AI tools and data services to automate AML, sanctions, and KYC reviews while keeping humans in the loop.
- Develop intuitive interfaces for case management, reporting, analytics, and workflow configuration for compliance teams.
- Work directly with enterprise compliance customers to deeply understand their needs and translate complex problems into elegant technical solutions.
- Ship reliable, production-grade full-stack code across backend services, APIs, databases, and frontend using TypeScript, Python, Node.js, and React.
