Chili John's of California is looking for an experienced, hardworking, and passionate Line Cook to join our team. We are not a typical restaurant. We take pride in preparing nearly everything from scratch, including our sauces, dressings, chili recipes, and house specialties. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Set up and stock cooking stations before service.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor food quality, temperatures, and presentation.
- Assist with inventory, prep work, and kitchen organization.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Qualifications
- Previous line cook experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented attitude with a passion for quality food.
