Job Overview
The Supervisor‐Housekeeping role is part of the Environmental Services (EVS) department, focusing on maintaining high cleanliness standards, ensuring JCAHO compliance, and supervising housekeeping staff
1. The position is onsite, typically an 8‐hour shift, and reports to a Manager or Director
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high cleanliness in assigned areas and ensure compliance with Code of Conduct and policies .
- Supervise staff: hiring, orienting, training, evaluating, coaching, and addressing performance issues
- Schedule days off, holidays, and vacations to meet facility needs
- Assign work areas/projects, coordinate cleaning frequencies, and ensure proper supply control and chemical safety training
- Identify and correct quality assurance concerns, keep logs and documentation current, and participate in facility QA programs
- Assign equipment, monitor daily use, cleaning, and maintenance
Requirements
Education: High school diploma, GED, or higher; Associate’s degree preferred
Certification: Valid California driver’s license (and exceptional DMV.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in environmental services and/or supervising others in a service‐related field
Skills: Delegation, team leadership, communication, problem‐solving, time management, budget awareness, and quality focus

- Salary range: BOE
- Hours: 40 hours/week, 8‐hour shifts
- Shift: Evenings (default)
