Status: Part-time 25 Hrs, Hourly
Wage: $21/hr
Primary Objective of Position:
The Resident Services Coordinator will develop and implement programs that will serve childrenand families
atour apartment community. Jamboree Housing Corporation is seeking a person to work25hours a week organizing educational and socialization activities.
Major Areas of Accountability:
- Plan and lead on-site resident meetings, social activities, and educational programs for children.
- Facilitate and supervise virtual programming.
- Maintain organization of physical space and administrative documentation.
- Assistresidents in using the on-site computer lab.
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for youth ages 617.
- Offer homeworkassistanceand support with daily challenges using age-appropriate guidance and conflict resolution.
- Implementdevelopmentally
appropriate curriculumin areas such as Health and Wellness, Arts and Crafts, Multiculturalism, Service Learning, Technology, and Performing Arts.
- Support social-emotional development through trauma-informed care, emotional scaffolding, and positive relationship-building.
- Monitor youth behavior using strength-based, restorative practices.
- Maintainaccurate, confidential records of childrens attendance, participation, and engagement trends to support planning and reporting.
- Foster a sense of belonging through inclusive, resilience-focused practices.
- Collaborate with families and staff to address the individual needs of children from vulnerable backgrounds.
- Build andmaintainpartnerships with educational resources, community organizations, and local school districts.
- Assist with food bank
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Level of Education, Experience and Skill Set:
- Excellent communication skills
- Over 18 years of age
- Ability to interact in a culturally diverse community
- CPR certification preferred
- Preferably 2 years of youth development experience with youth ages 6-18
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Job includes some evening and weekend hours and travel throughout California

The Resident Services Coordinatoris required totalk andhear.The employeeis often required tosit and use their hands and fingers to handle or feel.The employeeis required tostand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb, balance, twist, lean, move from one location to anotherand tostoop, kneel,crouchor crawl.Visionabilities required by this job include close and far vision.Ability tooperatea computer keyboard, and lift files andreports. Exposure to glare from a computer.
