Connect Staffing is hiring a Production package handler for a food production facility in Los Alamitos, CA. This is a temp-to-hire overnight position paying $18/hr. In this role, you will package fresh fruits and vegetables and palletize finished product on a production line. The schedule runs Monday–Friday evenings with every other Saturday, giving you consistent weekday hours.
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday 6:00 PM–2:30 AM, every other Saturday

Responsibilities
- Work on a production line packaging fresh fruits and vegetables according to product specs and weight requirements.
- Stack and arrange finished cases onto pallets in the correct pattern and sequence.
- Inspect packaged product for quality issues such as damaged items, incorrect fills, or labeling errors.
- Keep your workstation and surrounding area clean and free of food debris throughout the shift.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines during all production tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on a packaging or assembly line.
- Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or basic food safety standards.
- Experience palletizing by hand or using a pallet jack.
- Ability to work at a consistent pace to meet production line output goals.
- Experience handling fresh produce, refrigerated product, or perishable goods.
- Previous experience in a food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for the duration of an 8-hour shift.

Pre-Employment Requirements
- Non-slip shoes required (employee-provided).
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
