RN – ICU (Contract)
Location: California 95370
Pay: $2,059 – $2,311/week
Schedule
-
12-hour Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
-
36–48 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required
-
Call possible if overstaffed
-
Float to SDU regularly; may float to Med/Surg or ED if needed
Position Summary & Responsibilities
-
Provide critical care to ICU/SDU patients using the nursing process
-
Perform assessments, care planning, medication administration, and monitoring
-
Manage ventilators, titratable IV drips (vasopressors, propofol, fentanyl), and moderate sedation
-
Monitor EKG/hemodynamics and respond to emergent situations
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and delegate appropriately
-
Educate patients/families and support discharge planning
-
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safe, compliant care
Requirements
-
RN License (state of practice) – Required
-
BLS (or equivalent) – Required
-
ACLS & PALS – Required
-
Acute care/ICU experience – Required/Preferred
-
BSN – Preferred
