Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current or eligible California SLP licensure
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP - CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior school-based experience preferred, although strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress reporting
- Ability to engage with students across a wide range of ages and communication needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine needs and monitor progress
- Develop, implement, and track speech-language goals as part of each student’s IEP
- Communicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and parents/guardians
- Offer strategies and resources to foster language and communication skill development in education settings
- Stay current with best practices and state standards in school-based speech-language pathology
