Calm Spring Counseling Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Virtual Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients across the United States. As a counselor with us, you will provide essential telehealth services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on promoting mental wellness and facilitating growth through virtual platforms.

About the Organization\n

Calm Spring Counseling Group is a progressive mental health care organization committed to connecting qualified counselors with clients who need support. Our innovative online platform provides therapists with the resources they need to deliver high-quality care, ensuring clients are matched with professionals who understand their specific needs. We believe in fostering a supportive, collaborative atmosphere that prioritizes the well-being of both clients and staff.

Work Environment\n

This position is structured as a 100% remote telehealth role, allowing you to provide therapeutic services from the comfort of your home. We empower our counselors with the flexibility to set their schedules, working Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Our team values a balanced work-life dynamic, and there is no on-call duty involved, ensuring a focused and manageable work routine.

Key Responsibilities\n

    \n
  • Conduct virtual assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health and substance abuse histories, tailoring initial evaluations to meet individual needs.
  • \n

  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

  • \n

  • Educate and actively involve clients' families in the therapeutic process, providing them with the tools and support needed to foster a positive environment for recovery.
  • \n

  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations and organizational standards, ensuring client confidentiality and data integrity.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients are pre-screened and typically present with stable and manageable mental health concerns. You will primarily work with adolescents and young adults who are in need of assistance navigating their mental health journeys. The clients you engage with may exhibit low acuity symptoms, allowing you to focus on providing quality care without the immediate pressures often encountered in higher-acuity settings.

Qualifications\n

  • \n

  • Possession of active state licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or PsyD is mandatory for this role.

  • Advanced proficiency in using technology, including Google Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHRs), to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • \n

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen ability to connect with and engage clients effectively.
  • \n

  • A professional and polished presentation is expected in all interactions, reflecting our commitment to professional ethics and decorum.
  • \n

Preferred Experience\n

    \n
  • At least 2-3 years of experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions is preferred, particularly within a telehealth framework.
  • \n

  • A demonstrated ability to conduct therapy with adolescents and young adults, focusing on their specific developmental and emotional needs.
  • \n

  • A willingness to engage in ongoing training in our organization’s evidence-based treatment frameworks, known as our care pathways.
  • \n

  • Experience with family involvement strategies in therapy processes is advantageous.
  • \n

  • A reliable internet connection and a private workspace conducive to maintaining confidentiality during therapy sessions are essential.
  • \n

Compensation and Benefits\n

  • Competitive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, based on experience and qualifications.
  • \n

  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance options, a retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
  • \n

  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education to enhance your skills and advance your career.
