Spindle is partnering with a forward-thinking school district in Corning, California to bring on a Special Education Teacher who’s passionate about individualized learning and inclusive classrooms.
Special Education Teacher – Job Description:
- Support elementary students with diverse learning needs through individualized instruction and IEP-driven goals
- Create a safe, engaging classroom environment that promotes academic and social growth
- Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and related service providers
- Use adaptive tools and evidence-based strategies to support student development
- Help establish a new SDC classroom designed to reduce classroom sizes and provide additional support to students
Position Details:
- Location: Corning, CA
- Dates: ASAP – June 3, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time, 35–37.5 hours per week
- Grade Level: Elementary
- Caseload: Capped at 14 students
- Support: 3 Teaching Assistants
