About Buena Park-Board & Care Home:
Seeking a caring, loyal, patient individual to join our team. Serving adults with special needs. Assist daily with maintaining facility, assisting the residents with self care, ILS, money management, disperse medication, record keeping, house keeping, ensure residents needs are being met on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities: comply with facility staff duty checklist to discuss in detail upon hire, to include but not limited to: maintain facility clean and to meet state standards and facility standards at all times, housekeeping, disperse medications, medication Recordkeeping, medical appointments, maintain client files, facility records, assist clients with self/care, ILS, money management, social/recreational. Activities, meal planning, cooking, ensure clients needs are met on daily basis. Work on a team, team player a must! Patient, kind, and able to work with people with special needs!!
Qualifications: experience working with adults with special needs/developmental disabilities, DSP yr 1 and yr 2 would be a plus, first aid/CPR, housekeeping cleaning skills, light cooking skills, must have clean background, fingerprint (livescan) clearance required prior to hire.
