About the Role:
ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our team in Orinda, CA! In this rewarding AM shift role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by providing essential in-home care and support. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their homes
- Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation during morning hours
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Administer medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
- Transport or accompany clients to appointments or errands when required
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a home care aide, caregiver, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role preferred
- Reliable availability for AM shifts on a consistent schedule
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first attitude
- Ability to pass a background check and provide verifiable references
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a genuine desire to help others
