Building Block Resolutions (BBR) is seeking a highly trained and experienced Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team for a high-needs case involving significant challenging behaviors.

We are looking for a confident, patient, safety-focused, and clinically capable BT who is comfortable implementing behavior intervention plans and working with clients who may display aggression and other high-intensity behaviors.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA/clinical team.
  • Implement behavior intervention and safety plans with consistency and professionalism.
  • Respond appropriately to episodes of aggression and other challenging behaviors.
  • Maintain a calm and therapeutic environment during escalations.
  • Collect accurate and timely session data.
  • Communicate professionally with the supervising BCBA regarding progress, concerns, and significant incidents.
  • Follow all BBR safety, documentation, attendance, and clinical procedures.
  • Participate in required trainings and ongoing supervision.


Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a BT who:

  • Has experience working with aggressive or high-intensity behaviors.
  • Is comfortable working with clients who may engage in physical aggression.
  • Has strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavior-reduction strategies.
  • Can remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
  • Is dependable, consistent, and able to maintain session expectations.
  • Is receptive to feedback and willing to follow clinical direction.
  • Has strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Has current RBT certification or relevant ABA experience/training.
  • Willing to travel for in-home case in Gardena, CA!!!



Available Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 3:45 PM to 7:45 PM.

Required

Experience with high-needs or aggressive cases is strongly preferred. Candidates must be willing to complete and maintain all required safety and crisis-management training applicable to the case.

This position is best suited for an experienced BT who is confident working with challenging behaviors and committed to providing safe, compassionate, and consistent ABA services.
