Job Description
Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Join an aerospace and defense hardware team building mission-critical avionics for flight vehicles. You will own circuit card assemblies from initial requirements through qualification and vehicle integration, with your work directly supporting flight readiness and production.
What You'll Do
- Own the complete hardware design lifecycle, from requirements gathering and schematic design through PCB layout, bring-up, debugging, and qualification.
- Design complex mixed-signal, high-speed boards with processors, memory, Ethernet, power electronics, sensor and actuator interfaces, and backplanes.
- Partner with supply chain on component selection, procurement, and supplier coordination.
- Test and verify hardware against requirements, iterate on designs, and implement changes.
- Integrate qualified hardware into vehicle systems and support production readiness and manufacturing.
What We're Looking For
- Five to eight years of electrical hardware design experience, including end-to-end PCB design and hardware development.
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience designing complex, high-speed mixed-signal PCBs and building hardware test environments, such as test racks, fixtures, or HIL systems.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or semiconductors.
- Familiarity with Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or comparable PCB design tools; Python experience is also relevant.
- U.S. person status, including U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
