Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience with pediatric or school-aged populations strongly desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Compliance with all state Board of Speech Language Pathology requirements
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language concerns
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to address individual needs
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions in a school-based setting
- Carefully monitor, record, and report student progress toward therapy goals
- Collaborate smoothly with teachers, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care
- Provide guidance and education to families, fostering their involvement in the therapeutic process
