Marketing Coordinator - Project Management

PublishedPublished: 6/14/2022

Job Description

Buttercloth® is looking for a highly organized, proactive Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Torrance, CA.

\n

\n

This is a hands-on marketing project coordination role for someone who loves keeping multiple projects organized and moving forward. You’ll work closely with our CEO, internal creative team, and outside marketing partners to manage timelines, creative assets, approvals, deadlines, and follow-through.

\n

\n

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive — someone who naturally wants to know what’s due, who owns it, where it stands, what’s holding it up, whether it’s been checked, when it will be finished, and what needs to happen next.

\n

\n

What You’ll Do

\n

\n

* Coordinate marketing projects from kickoff through completion, keeping timelines, deliverables, and owners organized and accountable.

\n

* Manage the flow of creative assets between our internal graphic designers, content creators, marketing agencies, freelancers, and other partners.

\n

* Maintain project trackers and calendars and proactively follow up on outstanding deliverables and deadlines.

\n

* Review marketing materials for accuracy, completeness, pricing, links, dates, brand consistency, and other details before they go live.

\n

* Coordinate approvals and make sure feedback and revisions are communicated and completed.

\n

* Work with our email, paid media, influencer, CTV, and other marketing partners to keep campaigns on schedule.

\n

* Assist with photo shoots, including scheduling, shot lists, samples, talent, locations, and coordination of final assets.

\n

* Identify potential delays or problems early and help develop solutions to keep projects moving.

\n

* Support product launches, promotions, events, and other marketing initiatives.

\n

* Help keep the CEO and marketing team informed of priorities, project status, upcoming deadlines, and next steps.

\n

\n

What We’re Looking For

\n

\n

* 2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, project coordination, creative operations, account coordination, or a similar role.

\n

* Strong project-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage many projects simultaneously.

\n

* A natural sense of ownership and follow-through — you don’t wait until a deadline has passed to find out something isn’t finished.

\n

* Strong attention to detail and willingness to check work carefully before it goes out.

\n

* Comfortable following up with coworkers, agencies, vendors, and creative teams to keep projects on schedule.

\n

* Working knowledge of digital marketing, including email, paid social, websites/e-commerce, social media, and creative production.

\n

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

\n

* Experience with project-management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms is a plus.

\n

* E-commerce, DTC, fashion/apparel, beauty, consumer products, or lifestyle brand experience is a plus.

\n

* Bachelor’s degree preferred.
