A per diem retail pharmacist position is available in Manteca, CA, offering an opportunity to provide essential pharmaceutical services on a flexible basis. This role involves supporting prescription fulfillment and ensuring accuracy and safety for patients.
Schedule:
- First day: October 5, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Location:
- Manteca, California
Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill prescriptions processed by pharmacy staff
- Review drug utilization reviews (DURs) conducted by the system (NRx - QS/1)
- Collaborate with clerks to utilize automated system features for DURs
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and maintain patient safety
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California pharmacist license
- One year or more of recent experience in retail pharmacy
- Proficient with pharmacy dispensing systems and DUR processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review prescriptions thoroughly
