Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses during initial consultations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.

- Engage with clients on a regular basis through virtual therapy sessions, providing guidance, coping strategies, and tools to facilitate their progress.
- Monitor client outcomes and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure optimal results, including documenting session notes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, when clients require medication management or specialized care.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Uplifting Behavioral System, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
- A minimum of two years of direct experience in providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.
- A solid understanding of various mental health disorders and a commitment to employing evidence-based treatment frameworks.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and teletherapy software.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
