Direct Counsel is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice at a leading Am Law firm. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced employment litigator seeking a clear path to partnership while working on sophisticated, high-profile matters with a collaborative and entrepreneurial team.
Location: San Francisco, CA
Responsibilities:

Handle complex employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Independently manage multiple litigation matters and case strategy.

Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

Conduct depositions and participate in hearings and courtroom proceedings.

Provide strategic legal advice to a diverse client base.

Manage case-related projects and deadlines efficiently.

Contribute to the continued growth of the firm's California Labor & Employment practice.
Qualifications:

At least 4 years of employment litigation experience.

Exceptional legal writing, analytical, advocacy, and project management skills.

Ability to independently manage cases through all phases of litigation.

Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.

Outstanding academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.

Active admission to the California Bar.

Compensation: $365,000-$435,000, depending on experience, location, and other factors.
