Compensation: $28–$35/hour, depending on experience.

About the Role
\n
We're looking for a detail-oriented, self-directed professional to own the full lifecycle of our California Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) and federal TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau) license applications — from the first client conversation through final approval. This role is the primary point of contact for clients throughout the licensing process, and requires someone who can manage multiple applications independently, track them through state and federal review, and keep clients informed at every stage. Light operations and administrative support round out the role.

Key Responsibilities

ABC & TTB Licensing (Primary)
\n

- Own client intake, onboarding, and application execution for new ABC and TTB licensing matters
- Manage ongoing client follow-up and communication throughout the application process
- Prepare and submit California ABC license applications
- Prepare and submit corresponding TTB applications using the same underlying information
- Track and manage each application through CA ABC investigation, responding to requests and following up as needed to keep applications moving
- Maintain accurate records and deadline tracking across all active applications

Operations & Admin (Secondary)
\n

- Support broader client scheduling and calendar/deadline tracking as needed
- Assist with document prep and filing outside of ABC/TTB matters
- Provide general office and operations support

What We're Looking For
\n
- \n
- Direct ABC/TTB licensing experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate
- Strong organizational skills and ability to independently manage multiple applications and deadlines at once
- Clear, direct communicator — comfortable owning client relationships and flagging issues rather than waiting to be asked
- Trustworthy with confidential client and business information
- Comfortable working closely with an attorney day-to-day, with oversight from the firm owner as needed
