Connect Staffing is hiring an experienced General Manager for a water mitigation and restoration company in Irvine, CA. This is a long-term placement position paying $90,000–$100,000/year plus commission. In this role, you will run the full operation — managing daily mitigation and restoration production, overseeing P&L, and building the referral network that drives revenue growth. This is a high-ownership position with direct reporting to the Owner/President and real impact on company performance.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across water mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke, contents, and restoration projects from initial loss through completion.
- Manage branch P&L including revenue, gross profit, labor costs, equipment costs, and operating expenses.
- Build and maintain referral relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, plumbers, contractors, and third-party administrators (TPAs).
- Review job profitability, monitor accounts receivable, and track outstanding insurance claims.
- Oversee estimating and documentation processes using Xactimate to ensure accurate, timely, and properly supported estimates.
- Establish production standards, workflows, and KPIs (key performance indicators); review financial reports and implement corrective actions when targets are missed.
- Monitor equipment deployment, drying documentation, and inventory across active job sites.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of management experience in water mitigation, restoration, or a closely related construction/property services field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established relationships with insurance carriers, adjusters, or TPAs (third-party administrators) in the Southern California market.
- Experience managing commercial and residential referral pipelines and preferred-vendor agreements.
- Familiarity with IICRC (Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification) standards for water damage, mold, and fire/smoke restoration.
- Experience coordinating mold remediation, demolition, and reconstruction scopes in addition to mitigation.
- Knowledge of insurance claims processes, supplement negotiation, and collections on insurance receivables.
- Prior experience hiring, training, and managing field technicians, project managers, or estimators in a restoration environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L, job costing, and financial performance at the branch or company level.
- Experience using Xactimate for estimating and job documentation.
