Micro Paradox is seeking a Greenhouse Lead! As the lead, you'll coordinate day-to-day operations in our inventory greenhouse and shadehouse under the direction of the Greenhouse Manager. You'll help direct a small crew, keep plant inventory organized and shipment-ready, and occasionally drive deliveries throughout California and neighboring states. This is a working lead role - you'll be hands-on alongside your team, not managing from a distance.

What You'll Do
Greenhouse Organization & Plant Intake
- Maintain organized plant layout by variety, size, and readiness; ensure everything is clearly labeled and easy to locate
- Coordinate intake of incoming plant material and manage greenhouse layout as inventory shifts
Labor Coordination
- Direct a 10-15 person crew in daily tasks: sorting, spacing, upsizing containers, grooming, and staging plants for shipment
- Keep work moving efficiently and ensure tasks are completed consistently and correctly
Inventory & Fulfillment
- Maintain awareness of plant quantities and locations; identify material ready for sale or shipment
- Coordinate staging and preparation of orders; work with shipping staff to ensure plants are ready for fulfillment
Deliveries & Logistics
- Assist with loading shipments
- Drive company vehicles to deliver plants throughout California and neighboring states as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience coordinating or leading a crew in a greenhouse, nursery, agricultural, or warehouse setting
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills including data entry and Google Workspace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Spanish fluency a plus
- Ability to perform hands-on physical work for extended periods, lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in greenhouse conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Familiarity with basic math concepts including ratios and measurements
Compensation & Benefits
- $20.50-22.50/hour, depending on experience
