The Wood Agency connects families in Yucca Valley, CA and across the country with remote sales consultants who listen, explain life insurance options, and walk them through the application process. This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position.
What you'll do
- Connect with people who have already asked about life insurance and schedule time to talk through their situation
- Ask about each family's needs before presenting anything — coverage should match their actual circumstances
- Walk through suitable policy options and complete an application with the client during the same remote conversation
- Stay with each case from submission through the carrier's decision, keeping clients informed while it is pending
- Log calls, notes, and follow-up tasks in the CRM as the work happens
- Work within your state's licensing requirements and the guidelines of the carriers you represent
Qualifications
- A state life insurance license, or a clear plan to earn one before you begin selling
- Comfortable running appointments and completing applications through carrier web platforms and video calls
- Reliable home office setup: a computer, phone, and consistent internet connection
- Able to manage your own schedule without daily oversight
- Consistent follow-through — pending cases and callbacks don't fall through the cracks

Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is commission-based. No salary or hourly pay is provided. Earnings depend on individual production. If that structure fits your situation, we welcome your application.
