Nurse Manager - Progressive Care
Location: Napa, California
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shift
Pay: $167,974 - $265,150 base salary
Overview
Avento Health has partnered with a leading acute care hospital in Napa, California to identify a Nurse Manager for Progressive Care. This leadership role offers the opportunity to guide a patient care unit, support staff development, and help drive clinical excellence in a mission-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain 24-hour accountability for the clinical leadership of the assigned patient care unit
- Oversee personnel management, fiscal stewardship, and operational performance
- Support clinical standards development and staff growth
- Partner with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Review practice patterns and help implement improvements that strengthen quality and patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and applicable state and federal regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- California Registered Nurse license by start date
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association by start date
- Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting

- Experience in progression care or similar inpatient nursing leadership settings
