1st Shifts available for immediate start for Warehouse Reach Forklift Drivers to Start ASAP - OT hours available. We currently have multiple opportunities for highly motivated team players as a Reach Forklift Drivers for a growing Distribution company.
This position will be fast paced and expect you to be proactive and continuously process orders. Additionally, you will be expected to cross throughout the facility to help grow your career and ensure our customers’ orders are processed on time. You can expect to work in several departments per shift to help expedite customer orders.
Reach Forklift Driver Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucks or aircraft
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
- Checking loads are secure
- Stacking empty pallets
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards
- Dumping materials into machine hoppers
Warehouse Reach Forklift Driver Qualifications:
- Certified on Reach Forklift
- Stable proven past work history
- Must have determination, sense of urgency, strong customer focus
- Reliable with a good attendance record.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to comfortably lift 50 pounds
- Ability to do basic math and analyze specification sheets and procedures
- Stable, verifiable work history
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- History of great attendance and reliability
These are long term permanent positions. You will work in receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping, in addition to other standard warehouse duties.
