This contract role is based near Morgan Hill, CA, and offers the chance to make a significant impact in a school environment. You'll work full-time, Monday through Friday, from now through June 4th, 2027, in a supportive and collaborative setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active California credential for Moderate/Severe Special Education (required)
- Previous experience working with moderate to severe student populations highly preferred
- Ability to adapt instruction and classroom environment based on individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills
- Deep commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated instruction tailored to moderate and severe needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Modify curriculum and classroom settings to support student success
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and administration
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
