Senior Payroll Specialist / Accountant | Hybrid (LA Area) | Starting at $95K+
We're working on an urgent, high-impact hire with a fast-paced, high-end retail company. This is a visible role with leadership exposure and a chance to own payroll while stepping into accounting.
The Impact
- Take full ownership of payroll (50+ employees) — no hand-holding
- Be the go-to person for payroll accuracy, compliance, and reporting
- Step into month-end close + accounting support
- Work directly with Controller & CFO in a lean, high-performing team
MUST HAVES
- 5+ years full-cycle payroll
- Experience with 50+ employees
- Strong payroll compliance knowledge and usage of ADP
- Accounting exposure (JE's, accruals, close)
- Ability to run payroll independently
