CordeValle is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook 1 to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality dishes and contributing to an exceptional dining experience across our restaurant outlets and banquet operations.

The Cook 1 is responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes and standards, supporting both restaurant outlets and banquet functions, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items to specification and quality standards
• Assist with production for restaurant service and banquet events
• Follow standardized recipes and accurately execute orders from kitchen tickets
• Support prep work, station setup, and breakdown
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and proper portion control
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Collaborate with culinary team to execute high-volume and specialty events
Requirements
• 2+ years of culinary experience in a professional kitchen preferred
• Experience in both à la carte and banquet production is a plus
• Valid Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to read and follow standardized recipes, kitchen tickets, and BEO's
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
