Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a physical therapist, covering a valued colleague’s maternity leave from October 19 through April 2. This role centers on providing attentive, compassionate care to approximately 37 infants. Most services are delivered in the home, giving you the chance to build strong partnerships with families and truly impact early development.

Work alongside a dedicated Infant Team, including a teacher, SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist), OT (Occupational Therapist), VI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired), and DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing specialist), collaborating to develop and implement effective, individualized plans. Your expertise will help ensure each child receives thoughtful, coordinated support.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapy license in California
  • Proven background working in school settings, ideally serving infants and young children
  • Familiarity with home-based physical therapy and early intervention best practices
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cohesively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver home-based physical therapy services tailored to each infant’s needs
  • Assess motor skills and develop individualized treatment goals
  • Record progress, update plans, and communicate findings to the Infant Team and families
  • Contribute your expertise during team meetings to support holistic care
  • Empower families with education and strategies for developmental success
