A high growth private real estate investment firm is looking for a senior portfolio accountant to help manage the day to day accounting for a growing real estate portfolio spanning multiple asset classes and geographies.
This is a hands on, individual contributor role with real ownership over a piece of the portfolio. You'll manage the general ledger, own the month end and year end close, and work directly with investors and lenders on quarterly reporting.
What you'll do:
Own general ledger activity and monthly balance sheet reconciliations for an assigned portfolio.
Manage cash across multiple bank accounts and process accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare quarterly investor distributions and lender compliance reporting.
Required Skills:
8 plus years of accounting experience, real estate or similar industry background preferred.
Strong hands on general ledger and month end close experience.
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with real estate or property accounting software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
