Full Time Day and will work 10 -hour Day shifts.
The RN – Outpatient Surgery is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative process. The nurse collaborates with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in an acute care outpatient surgery setting.Required QualificationsEducation: Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program Licensure & Certifications
- California Registered Nurse (RN) License
- BLS – American Heart Association
- ACLS – American Heart Association
- PALS – American Heart Association
Experience
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Minimum 1 year Outpatient Surgery (OR) RN experience in an acute care hospital
- Minimum 1 year Ambulatory Surgery RN experience
- Experience must be post-licensure (student clinical rotations do not qualify)
Preferred Qualifications
- Perioperative Nursing experience
- Same-Day Surgery experience
- PACU or Operating Room experience
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
- Strong patient education and communication skills
