NOW HIRING: JOURNEYMAN WELDERS
Pay: DOE – Depending on Experience
Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Welders to join our team. Qualified candidates must have a current 3G welding certification performed by a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding duties using proper welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Spend approximately 90% of the workday welding.
- Perform additional tasks and assist in other areas as needed, approximately 10% of the time.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and welding specifications.
- Inspect work to ensure welds meet required quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current 3G Welding Certification performed by a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector).
- Welding school certifications do not qualify for this position.
- 3G certification must demonstrate out-of-position vertical-up welding, performed from bottom to top.
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Welder.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
