Description:
The Temporary Warehouse Specialist supports the Global Corporate Events (GCE) team by facilitating warehouse operations for corporate event assets, displays, fixtures, signage, promotional materials, branded merchandise, and equipment. This role is responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, picking, packing, and shipping event inventory while maintaining accurate records in the EZO Office (EZOfficeInventory) Warehouse Management System. The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in ensuring event materials are organized, inventory is accurate, and shipments are completed on schedule to support domestic and international corporate events.
Essential Responsibilities
Inventory & Asset Management
• Utilize EZO Office (EZOfficeInventory) to receive, issue, transfer, and track Global Corporate Events assets and equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning and asset tracking.
• Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and annual physical inventories.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and process inventory adjustments.
• Ensure event assets are properly labeled, organized, and stored for efficient retrieval.
Receiving, Shipping & Logistics
• Receive, inspect, and verify inbound shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Pick, pack, palletize, and prepare outbound shipments for domestic and international corporate events.
• Coordinate shipments with internal teams, freight carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Verify packing lists, shipping documentation, and inventory transactions.
• Receive returned event assets and update inventory within EZO Office.
Warehouse Operations
• Stage event materials according to project timelines and event schedules.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness to maximize operational efficiency.
• Assist with event setup and teardown logistics, as required.
Equipment & Safety
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
• Wear required PPE and promote a safe warehouse environment.
Additional Responsibilities
• Support warehouse improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Assist with documentation, inventory reporting, and asset management.
• Cross-train in other warehouse functions to support operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, logistics, inventory control, or event operations experience.
• Experience using EZO Office (EZOfficeInventory) or a similar Warehouse Management System.
• Experience with barcode scanners and inventory management processes.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Preferred Qualifications
• Current Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification.
• Experience supporting corporate events, trade shows, marketing events, or live event logistics.
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping procedures.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb throughout the workday.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, evenings, or weekends based on event schedules.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Work Environment
This temporary position is based in the Global Corporate Events (GCE) Warehouse and supports the storage, preparation, and distribution of event assets for corporate meetings, executive events, brand activations, trade shows, and internal events. The role requires close collaboration with the Global Corporate Events team to ensure event assets are available, organized, and delivered on schedule.
