We are hiring caregivers and Home Care Aides in Pleasant Hill and Martinez. Our office is on Morello Avenue in Pleasant Hill, so this is home care work close to home — most caregivers on these cases drive ten minutes or less between the office and their client.

If you have worked as a caregiver, CNA, HHA, personal care aide, companion, or in senior care, assisted living, or memory care, we want to talk with you. No prior agency experience is required. We train.

Where you'll be working

Caregiver shifts across Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Pacheco, and the Gregory Gardens, Poets Corner, and Alhambra Valley neighborhoods. Clients are close to John Muir Health and the Kaiser Permanente Martinez medical offices. We schedule you near where you live and keep your commute short.

What a Home Care Aide does here

• Companionship, conversation, and emotional support for seniors at home

• Personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene

• Meal planning, cooking, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping

• Medication reminders and monitoring client well-being

• Transferring, ambulating, and safe repositioning

• Reporting changes in a client's physical, mental, or emotional condition promptly

• Accurate care notes and mobile clock-in / clock-out

You'll do well here if you

• Genuinely enjoy caring for older adults

• Communicate clearly with clients, families, and the office

• Show up on time, every shift

• Bring patience and warmth into someone's home

• Speak Spanish, Tagalog, or another second language (a strong plus, not required)

Caregiver requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California, or willing to register — we walk you through it

• Current 2-step TB test, or able to obtain

• CPR / First Aid certification, or able to obtain

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)

• Able to pass a national criminal background check and be bondable

• Satisfactory professional and personal references

• Able to complete SYNERGY HomeCare orientation and online training

• Able to perform light to moderate physical activity: standing, walking, kneeling, and assisting with repositioning

Caregiver pay and benefits

• $21.00–$23.00 per hour base pay, set by experience

• $2.00/hr attendance bonus — work every scheduled shift in the month and the bonus is applied retroactively to all hours you worked that month
