We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with disabilities, dementia, or memory-related challenges. Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Monitor and document vital signs as required, ensuring accurate medical documentation.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, helping clients engage in social activities.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, particularly for those with dementia or memory care requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding client status and any changes in condition.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a caregiving role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care and memory care practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform basic medical documentation and monitor vital signs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory.
