An Assistant Installer travels alongside a seasoned Lead Installer or Technician in a BWE Vehicle from the BWE Office to our client's home or jobsite.
Assistant Installers provide exceptional service to BWE customers with a professional appearance and attitude. This is a great opportunity to build a career by learning about our products and services, as well as increasing skills through training and on-the-job opportunities. We also offer optional medical insurance, where BWE would pay a portion of the premium.
At BWE Home Theater, we focus on building long term relationships with our customers. Every customer interaction is in service of providing the best experience and support possible. You are not required to know everything about technology to be an Assistant Installer, but you do need to be willing to learn and demonstrate increased proficiency over time, all with a keen focus on customer satisfaction.

Main Tasks to be Performed:
- Assist with the Installation of Flat Panel Televisions, Projectors, Sound Systems, Smart Home Technology, and more.
- Install and/or troubleshoot low voltage wiring
- Run wires for new construction and retro-fit (existing homes)
- Assist with Network setup and diagnostics (routers, access points/range extenders, etc.)
- Work face-to-face with clients in their home or business
- Among other tasks

REQUIRED Credentials, Skills, or Traits:
- Valid California Driver License or I.D. Card
- Must Agree to BWE Company Policies (will be provided if you choose to schedule an informal Interview)
- At least one (1) year of Construction experience
- At least one (1) year of Computer Skills experience
- Ladder and power / hand tool experience required (you will be required to provide your own tool bag with basic tools, and to build your tool collection over time)
- Willingness to crawl in attics or beneath sub-floors
- Basic knowledge of computer and PC computer software required
- Self-starting, "get in there and get it done right the first time" mindset
- Professional appearance and attire
- Desire to learn, with a positive attitude
