- Valid credential in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
- Demonstrated experience working directly with children and adolescents who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Familiarity supporting students with cochlear implants
- Strong communication, flexibility, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel within the county as required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and tailored educational support to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students (caseload of approximately 30)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other service providers
- Assess students’ progress and adapt individual education plans to promote growth
- Guide and advise school staff on best practices for inclusion and accessibility
- Ensure students receive services as determined by their IEPs
- Serve as a resource for families, promoting strong home-school partnerships
This is a full-time, 35-hour per week, on-site contract role—ideal for educators eager to move beyond virtual environments and engage directly with students and colleagues in person.
Ready to make a regional impact and support a dynamic group of learners? Apply today to bring your dedication and expertise to this rewarding opportunity!
