Are you a skilled communicator with a knack for staying calm under pressure? We are a dedicated security company serving Fresno and the surrounding areas, and we're looking for a Security Dispatcher to join our team. With a focus on safety and security, we pride ourselves on maintaining high standards for protecting personnel, property, and assets. This position offers a starting rate of $18.00+/hour, depending on experience, and requires full availability, including weekdays, weekends, and any shift.
Responsibilities
As a Security Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our security services. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and managing communications through CAD/dispatch software.
- Coordinating schedules and dispatching officers to various locations.
- Utilizing Talk 100 WAVE radios and applying basic 10-codes to maintain clear communication.
- Responding promptly to incidents and ensuring accurate documentation of events.
- Serving as a key point of contact for officers in the field and providing leadership support when needed.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- An active Guard Card (required).
- At least 1 year of proven experience with CAD/dispatch software and scheduling.
- Familiarity with Talk 100 WAVE radios and basic 10-codes.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills.
Salary
Starting at $18.00+/hour, based on experience.
